My Story

When I was young, I was taught that the best investment one could make was in their own knowledge and ability: two assets that couldn't be taken away. This lesson has fuelled a relentless drive to acquire knowledge and skills, and continues to do so.

I earned a philosophy degree, learning critical thinking and symbolic logic which would serve as precursors to a career in tech. After graduating in philosophy, I returned to school for another education in software development.

Throughout my career I’ve built an array of applications, including a consumer analytics platform acquired by Yelp and an app with Drake that went viral.

Working in the digital marketing industry was very rewarding, but something was still missing…

Enter Finance. My world changed when I started investing. I became obsessed with charts, statistics, and news; constantly concerned with how the economic factors and geopolitical events of the present would affect markets in the future. It was clear that I had found my calling. So I went back to school for FinTech.

Now, I’m a Software Engineer in the Finance industry, and Equities Trader and Investor in my own time.
